What’s New
The changes we have made recently, newest first. Last updated August 28, 2026.
August 28 — See who is treating you
- Practitioner records from the federal NPI registry. For 772 practitioners at 494 med spas across 36 states, we now show the specialty they are registered under, their federal identifier and the date that record was last updated — each one linked so you can open the record yourself.
- A link to the board that can check a licence, in every state and in Washington DC — 51 boards in all. The federal registry issues identifiers, not licences, and records no licence status at all — so we point you at the state board, which is the only body that can confirm one.
- The Botox price warning now cites its source. Brands are not dosed the same, so a lower price per unit is not always a lower price. Each brand’s own FDA label says its units cannot be converted into another’s, and we now link those labels.
- Removed 69 practitioners listed at the wrong clinic. Four staff pages had been read onto the wrong business. One was a hospital gastroenterology team.
August 27 — Real prices, not estimates
- Cost guides now lead with what clinics actually charge. Ten of our 11 guides open with a figure taken from real published price lists, with the number of clinics behind it. Our own estimate is still there, clearly labelled as an estimate.
- A new dermaplaning cost guide, built entirely from published prices — separated into add-on, standalone and dermaplaning-facial, because those are three different treatments at three different prices.
- Xeomin, Jeuveau and Daxxify added to the Botox price comparison, each with its own figure. They are not interchangeable with Botox and are no longer folded in with it.
- Price comparisons rebuilt for phones. The old tables broke mid-number on a small screen.
- The blog is a simple list now, so you can scan titles instead of scrolling past pictures.
August 26 — Prices from the clinic’s own page
- 240 clinic pages now show that clinic’s own published prices, quoted in their words and linked to the page we read them from, with the date. 5,887 prices in total.
- Weight-loss injection pricing added, on pages that previously carried no figure at all.
How to read any number on this site
Every figure we publish is either taken from a source we link, or labelled as our own estimate. We do not average the two together, and we do not publish a price without saying where it came from. If something here looks wrong, tell us and we will fix it.
